Finished Looks

When it comes to making a hulking all-in-one liquid cooler look good, Alphacool keeps things simple. You won't find pieces that are purely cosmetic, strange shapes and designs, or a ton of RGB LEDs. Instead, you get a completely black cooler that will blend in with only a little window on each side of the radiator and the Alphacool logo on the CPU block illuminated in blue. If LEDs, or if blue for that matter, is not your thing, you can leave the CPU block unplugged for a more subdued look. The lights in the window on the radiator, however, can be blocked off by simply taking the unit apart and turning the side skirts around, but that also means you can't do a quick coolant check. Still, it is something to keep in mind if you prefer the completely black look.

Like the majority of all-in-one liquid coolers, the Eisbaer Extreme Black Edition offers perfect clearance around the socket. I found no issues with memory or graphics card clearance, either. Even so, the simple fact remains that this is a beefy cooler that will take up as much space as a 360 mm AIO while also being 64 mm thick, so make sure you have the space for this behemoth because while it may not conflict with the graphics card or memory, you could run into problems with clearing the motherboard or other components depending on the case you use.
