Overclocking
Overclocking was done without excessive abuse of operational voltage to keep heat output and power consumption in check. Voltage of 1.485V was used to find the maximum stable clock under a small Scythe Katana III cooler. The result was an very impressive 4.31 GHz, which is by far the best result we had from any Deneb core so far. It doesn't mean every 975 will go fast as this one, but it's certainly nice to see good old Deneb smoking fast even under budget cooler. With some better cooling, even higher speeds should be easily achieved with this sample.
