Value & Conclusion

  • The anidees AI7m in black goes for 80 euro including taxes. The white version comes in at a 5 euro premium, while the windowed variants add another 10 euro to the price.
  • Excellent use of space
  • Cooler of up to 180 mm in height will fit
  • 3 fans included out of the box
  • Fan controller included
  • Five expansion slots for motherboard
  • Can hold up to 280 mm radiator setup
  • Tool-less 3.5" HDD assembly
  • Magnetic dust filter for PSU
  • Unobstructed airflow for fan in front
  • Symmetric design in front
  • Available in black or white
  • Use of any fan or radiator toward the front in the top will block off ODD bay
  • Larger than other mATX cube cases out there
  • A bit of a cable mess when fully assembled
  • HDD trays a bit soft if empty or when populated with a 2.5" drive
  • Plastic lock for top cover somewhat fragile
  • Blue LED light in front may not be for everyone
The anidees AI7m is one of the larger mATX cube cases out there. Many other brands offer smaller variants, but also restrict the user in terms of CPU cooler compatibility or GPU length. This is where the AI7m manages to score big, allowing CPU coolers of up to 180 mm in height and long GPUs without having to sacrifice any cooling in the front. That said, the enclosure is clearly aimed at air-cooling users, while still allowing for radiators if you sacrifice the optical drive bay in the process.

Overall, the anidees AI7m is easy to assemble and comes with some nice functionality, like the three pre-installed fans or the fan controller. With the choice between a windowed and solid chassis and white or black, the AI7m is a great albeit somewhat large chassis capable of impressing with its very good price-to-performance ratio and solid build quality.
