Packaging
The Antec GX500 ships in a brown cardboard box with an image in both white and black on its front, while the rear holds a blow-up diagram of the chassis. Both sides also present the chassis from another angle. You probably noticed the complete lack of carrying holes in these panels, but the chassis is luckily light enough to make their omission redundant.
Two very sturdy Styrofoam spacers hold the GX500 in place. While this is great, it is a tad bit much, considering the size and weight of the case. A plastic bag has also been put over the enclosure to protect it from scratches and fingerprints.
Contents
You will receive a bag of screws, five sets of plastic rails, some sleeved metal wiring for cable management, and foam rings to apply to the aforementioned rails. I would have liked real rubber lining on the insides of the rails right out of the box and the inclusion of zip ties instead of metal wires. Antec also included a manual and several other pamphlets.
