The Antec ISK 600M actually does a lot of things right. While the original ISK 600 managed to deliver on its promises, but was lacking uncompromising functionality, the ISK 600M makes much better use of space and design. With the move of the LED to the chassis' underside, the ISK 600M instantly became more desirable to HTPC enthusiasts. The interior layout is also a lot more useful, not only from a cooling perspective, but from a compatibility standpoint. You may use long GPUs and can still stuff the chassis full of hard drives without having to sacrifice in other areas; only if you go for two side fans or 240 mm liquid cooling will you have to give up the top HDD/SSD tray.
That said, there is still that oddity of a single USB 2.0 and a single USB 3.0 I/O and its identical Power and Reset buttons. Also, while Antec has managed to include a better cooling layout within the ISK 600M, it is still missing dust filters in key areas - namely, the two side panels. Other manufacturers had to face the same problem and solved it with magnetic dust filters, for example. And while the additional fan in the front is great, the solid front-panel design does not allow for direct access to fresh air; but having this fan is obviously better than having none.
The Antec ISK 600M is ultimately the better of Antec's 600 series cases; its price is good and it looks better. Thus, we can recommend the chassis to those looking for a well-built cube chassis for their mATX system.
