Installation

Installing the drives was very easy. The included drive rails are completely screw-less as well. Just stick the appropriate drive rail to the drives and you are ready for installation. The optical drive rails have holes, so they can be adjusted if needed.


Once the drive rails were in place, the hard drive was just pushed into position. Once in place it did not move at all. The same goes for the optical drive. All drives are firmly held in place, making a LAN party trip a definite possibility.


The covers for the external drives can be easily removed by hand. No screw driver or any other tool is needed. As mentioned before, the plastic is of very high quality and is quite shiny. You can even see my finger print reflected on the surface.

Installing the mainboard and graphic card was straight forward. As you can see there is plenty of space, but this is to be expected of such a large case.

Finished Look

The side fan was connected, the side panel secured in place with its thumb screws. Then the case was powered up. I would not have thought that the fans were on, if it was not for the blue LEDs embedded in the fans and seeing them spin. They are extremely quiet even at full throttle.


The LEDs are not embedded in the fan blades but toward the center of the fan, which looks very nice and much better in my opinion. The front looks amazing when powered on. I took a picture of the back while it was powered on. I felt a strong airflow from about three feet away, while taking this picture. The amount of airflow must be insane with these fans.


The first thing that came to mind was "this would look great at a LAN party". So I hit the lights to darken the room. The blue LEDs are really bright and would definitely look sweet at any LAN party! Even the X-Clio sign lights up in the dark. Very nice indeed!
