The OEM of this PSU is SANR, which probably doesn't ring a bell for most of you. Its other name is Casecom. The same OEM is heavily utilized by Kolink and Aerocool, and it is known for its high performance per dollar products. The platform in this unit combines old and new elements, so we see a double-forward topology and DC-DC converters on the secondary side to generate the minor rails. The build quality looks decent. The heatsinks are large enough since this is an older design, and the fixed cables don't look that bad because of white gauges.
The transient filter starts on the AC receptacle and continues on the main PCB. It lacks a Metal Oxide Varistor (MOV), so it doesn't offer any voltage surge protection.
There is an NTC thermistor for suppressing large inrush currents. I didn't expect it to be supported by a bypass relay. The Y-caps in front of it reduce EMI.
The single bridge rectifier is pretty strong, at least on paper.
The APFC converter uses two FuXin FETs and a Champion boost diode. The bulk caps are by Toshin Kogyo, offering 440uF combined capacity. They are rated at 105 °C, but I couldn't find their lifetime at this temperature.
The combo PFC/PWM controller is a Champion CM6800UX.
The two primary switching FuXin FXN25N50F FETs are installed in a double-forward topology.
The main transformer lowers the voltage the primary side delivers and provides electrical isolation between the primary and secondary sides.
Four Cystech CSP03N06As regulate the +12 V rail.
The electrolytic filtering caps are by Hangcon, a brand I have never encountered before. The shortage in capacitors has brought some new factories onto the scene. The polymer caps are few and provided by third-tier manufacturers. AQIRYS must be fearless to be offering a six-year warranty while using these caps.
Two DC-DC converters generate the minor rails. They use four UBIQ FETs, and the common PWM controller is an ANPEC APW7159C.
The supervisor controller is a Grenery GR8329N.
The standby PWM controller is a Developer Microelectronics DP2358.
Soldering quality is decent.
The cooling fan is by DWPH, and its model number is EFS-12E12L. It supposedly uses a fluid dynamic bearing.
