Arbiter Studio AKITSU Review

Shape

The shape of the AKITSU generally resembles that of the Endgame Gear OP1, though some differences exist nonetheless. The AKITSU is a match in terms of front and back width, but is even narrower around the middle, and while the hump height is similar, it is slightly shorter than the OP1 as well. As a result, the AKITSU will feel even smaller than the OP1, which is further underlined by how the scroll wheel is larger and sits further to the back compared to the OP1, lending the AKITSU better to small hands. Aesthetically, the differences are more pronounced: hexagonal holes are scattered across the sides, the top except for the front portion of the main buttons, and parts of the bottom. In addition, the main buttons features engravings similar to the Finalmouse UltralightX or Pwnage StormBreaker, along with moderately deep comfort grooves.

As for grip styles, I'd say the AKITSU is mainly suited for claw grip, though fingertip grip is also possible. It is a small mouse with a fairly pronounced hump, which should make it generally suitable for medium to small hands. For reference, my hands are 19 cm long and 10 cm wide, and I found the AKITSU perfectly comfortable in claw grip.
