  • The Arctic Cooling Accelero Xtreme is available at Arctic Cooling for US$ 47.90 or 32.90 €.
  • Cooling performance
  • Low noise
  • Cost efficient
  • Incredibly easy to install
  • Looks good
  • Customizable cooling performance
  • Uncluttered design
  • Relatively compact compared to the level of performance it offers
  • Not the best overall performer
  • Not the most stunning looker
  • Not compatible with G92
Arctic Cooling has succeeded not only to produce a high performance cooler, but even a relatively low cost one. Priced at a mere 32.90 € this cooler represents an insane price/performance ratio compared to the big, bulky and expensive Thermalright HR-03 Plus.
The Accelero Xtreme is a brilliant design and is everything one could want in a cooler. It is low noise and with fans that can easily be adjusted. The cooling performance is way above the way more expensive Zalman VF1000 LED. The only down side that I can think of is that it does not look as cool, which could be important if you are a modder.
The simple design and awesome cooling performance makes this cooler one of the most desirable on the market right now. Given that fact that it is small compared to the HR-03 and offers almost the same level of performance at a much lower price it is a bargain.
Because the Xtreme is roughly the same length and depth as a GeForce 8800 Series card it does not extended over the edges making the card easier to install and get out of one’s system. Where a card with the HR-03 takes a bit of a wiggle and a lot of time to get in place this one is so much easier to handle.
Even the weight of the cooler is quite low, so overall it is hard to find anything to dislike about the Arctic Cooling's graphics card cooler.
