Package

The package is covered in informative illustrations, such as the six available color combinations, as well as other details. It all depends on your region when it comes to the package. If you are located in the US, you will receive a huge and really heavy package, but if you are in Europe, you will probably receive your desk in two packages instead of one.

We happen to be in Europe and received two packages in total, each of which was light enough for just a person to lug around safely.

Even though the two packages seemed to have arrived nearly unscathed originally, one had a pretty long and deep scratch. Unfortunately, this scratch was enough for some abrasion on one of the desk's corners. While foam protection is included inside, it obviously wasn't enough to protect the desk from harm on its way to us.

Once you unpack everything, make sure to carefully read the instructions and follow them to a tee all the way through. Assembly is kind of tricky, which makes a second pair of hands useful; actually, having another pair of hands around is crucial if you do not want to spend more than an hour on assemby. To give you a hint, the legs almost weigh 8 kg (17.63 lb) for the desk to be able to deal with up to 80 kg (176 lb). Tutorial videos for assembly are available, and you can also watch our attempt. To make things easier, we made use of an Allen key that is longer than the ones included in the bundle. We even thought about using an electric screwdriver since some bolts took excessive force to fit in place properly.

Arozzi's gaming desk is monumental! Its design is ergonomic, modern, and minimalist, and its large dimensions of 160 x 82 cm (62.99 x 32.29 ") have it offer enough space for a 50" TV or three smaller monitors along with a mouse and full-sized keyboard. It's height-adjustable in a 10 cm (3.9") range over two bolts close to the bottom feet, and the desk can, if the weight is evenly distributed, hold up to 79.83 kg (176 lb), which is quite a lot.

Overall, the desk is very sturdy due to its steel frame and solid surface, which is composed of three 1.9 cm (0.74 ") thick MDF (Medium Density Fibreboard) plates. Each MDF plate has openings that allow the cables to pass through and be routed under the desk. The metal parts of the desk are powder-coated, which results in a slick black finish.

Both legs of the Arena have a metal backplate with the company's logo in silver.

Under each leg are two round non-slip rubber feet, which will keep your floor (especially if it is wooden) safe and sound with even these legs pressing down on it. Additionally, the base is curved on both sides to avoid any serious (toe) accidents if you happen to bump into them.

One of the ergonomic features of this desk is the arched front, which allows users to situate themselves closer in front of any installed monitors. The Arena promotes an upright body posture. Combined with a proper chair, users can sit in front of it comfortably for many hours on end. However, for a healthier way of living, scientists suggest standing up every 30 minutes and walking around a bit. We know for a fact that 99% of us don't do so even though science says to!

The Arena comes in six different color options; the choice of color is solely applied to the legs and frame. What makes for an impression when it comes to which color is chosen, though, is their complimentary mouse pad covering the entire desk.

Contents - Mouse Pad

This complimentary mousepad is a necessary and well-built accessory. Our sample has a red outline, and a huge logo of the brand, painted in red, covers almost half of the surface area.

The company name and logo also appear on the upper-right side of the mousepad, in smaller font. This mouse pad is 5 mm (0.19") thick and weighs 3.4 kg (7.5 lb); it is also made out of microfiber cloth, and its backside features a rubber anti-slip overlap to keep it in place. Lastly, it is machine washable and water resistant.

Three cutouts along the upper side allow for all the cables to go inside a mesh hammock under the desk's surface for a tidy and ergonomic working rig. The surface is slightly uneven, but a rear anti-slip surface at the end of the mouse pad ensures it remains in place no matter how hard a gamer plays on it.

This full-surface mousepad comes in five different color combinations; pure black, blue, green, red, and with the company's big logo in red. If you manage to destroy it, it will cost you €79.90 ($95) to get another one, so you had better treat it nicely.
