Since the integrated graphics are far more powerful than what is typically seen in the mini PCs that have been reviewed, we verified actual gaming performance. Obviously, pushing ultra settings on a system such as this does not make a lot of sense, so in lieu of that, we tested each game at lower settings, shooting for 720p with stable frame rates and room for possibly gaming at 1080p.
Fallout 4
Fallout 4 was run at medium settings (selected in the launcher).
The Witcher 3
The Witcher 3 was run at medium in-game settings.
Battlefield 1
Battlefield 1 was run at medium settings.
Battlefield 4
Battlefield 4 was run at medium settings.
Metal Gear Solid V was run at medium settings with lighting, post-processing, and effects set to low. Volumetric clouds were left on, but ambient occlusion was disabled.
Grand Theft Auto V
Grand Theft Auto V was run with FXAA, MSAA, long shadows, high-resolution shadows, and high detail streaming with flying disabled. Extended distance scaling and extended shadows distance were set to 1/3 on the sliders.
Total War: Warhammer
Warhammer was run at its medium preset with ultra unit sizes.
Dota 2
Dota 2 was run at maximum in-game settings.
