Storage Performance
The ASRock X299 Taichi has a good compliment of internal storage options, including three M.2 slots and ten SATA 6 Gb/s ports. Two SATA ports are handled by an ASMedia ASM1061 controller. As I mentioned previously, I do wish there were a few more USB ports on the rear I/O, but ASRock did include an ASMedia ASM3142 controller for a USB 3.2 Gen2 internal header.
