Board Software

For software, ASRock is also offering a few choices, either from a download or the install disk. Once installed, the motherboard utility software is called ASRock Phantom Gaming Tuning. Even though this is the Riptide motherboard, the Phantom Gaming marketing is just that: marketing. Whatever you want to call it to match the aesthetics or however the GUI is re-skinned, it is the same software underneath. In this instance, ASRock does not have a "Riptide" version available for installation. The software still functions as it should with fan control, system monitoring, and a CPU overclocking section the main reasons to install this software in the first place.

ASRock Polychrome RGB is the software to control all the RGB peripherals connected to the appointed motherboard headers or hardware supported by the software, like the G.Skill Trident Z Neo RAM and EVGA RTX 2080 graphics card I am using.

The ASRock X570S PG Riptide includes a 2.5 GbE RJ45 Ethernet port that is controlled via the Killer E3001G. Like it or not, you need to install the Killer NIC drivers for the port to work. Afterwards, you are prompted to install Killer Control Suite. The software is used to prioritize incoming and outgoing packets and analyze the Wi-Fi network.
