Due to the low heat output of the GPU, the cooler can do without fancy copper baseplate or heatpipes which helps keep costs down.
The card does not require any additional PCI-E power, all power is delivered via the slot.
The GDDR5 memory chips are made by Samsung, and carry the model number K4G10325FE-HC05. They are specified to run at 1000 MHz (4000 MHz GDDR5 effective).
ASUS uses a uPi 6205 voltage regulator on their card. It's a cost efficient model which does not offer voltage control via I2C. NVIDIA's driver does expose a VID based voltage control scheme however.
NVIDIA's GF108 graphics processor is made on a 40 nm process at TSMC Taiwan. It uses 585 million transistors on a 114 mm² sized die.
