The Card
Looking at the GTX 670 DC Mini, we immediately notice the new fan and its compact size. The card is 17 cm long and 12 cm high.
Next to a reference design GTX 670, the size difference becomes obvious. When comparing the PCBs, however, we see that both are of the same length.
Installing the card requires two slots in your system.
Display connectivity options include two DVI ports, one full-size DisplayPort, and one full-size HDMI port. You may use all outputs at the same time, so triple-monitor surround gaming is possible with one card.
The GPU also includes an HDMI sound device. It is HDMI 1.4a compatible, which includes HD audio and Blu-ray 3D movies support.
Two SLI connectors are available, which would allow you to combine up to four GTX 670 cards in a multi-GPU configuration. Doing so makes little sense in a mini-ITX form factor, but could provide you with an upgrade path by combining this card with any other GTX 670 in a large case.
