Divinity Original Sin 2 by Larian Studios is a recent RPG game based on an isometric view of the game world like we've seen in many classic role-playing games, most notably Baldur's Gate. The game was received extremely well and is probably the best new release for this genre in a while. You, a sorcerer, are stuck in a world where sorcery is banned, which leads to your capture and eventual escape, as well as you uncovering the truth about the Void, which threatens all life.
