The ASUS ROG Maximus XIII Hero features a 8-phase VRM configuration using a parallel—or "Teamed"—power-stage design. Two Texas Instruments 95410 power stages run in parallel for each phase, which gives ASUS double the power-handling capability without using any doublers.

ASUS is using an Intersil ISL69269 PWM controller to drive the ROG Maximus XIII Hero.

The ASUS ROG Maximus XIII Hero uses Texas Instruments 95410 power stages for the seven Vcore phases. These power stages each support a maximum of 90 A of continuous current. For the SOC phase, ASUS is using a pair of Texas Instruments 59880 power stages, which support up to 70 A of current each. When paired with the chunky VRM cooling solution, the ROG Maximus XIII Hero should be a capable overclocker.

The ASUS ROG Maximus XIII Hero has a maximum output of 1,400 A, with 1,260 A dedicated to Vcore.
