Asustor Drivestor 4 AS1104T 4-Bay NAS Review - Lots of Features for Less than $270

Performance Summary with Multiple Clients

I used a QNAP QGD-1602P since my 10 GbE switch isn't compatible with the 2.5 GbE port of the NAS.

Transfer speeds with multiple clients are decent because of the 2.5 GbE port, but IOPS are incredibly low.

CPU utilization is high, and RAM utilization doesn't fall behind. CPU utilization is also high with the same set of tests for the Synology DS420j and AS3304T, which use the same CPU. Still, RAM utilization is much lower with the DS420j, which has the same amount of RAM as the AS1104T. During these intensive tests, maximum power consumption was 12.97 W.

The CPU temperature was 56 °C during the multi-client tests. Expect higher temperatures with high-capacity HDDs instead of the SSDs I used.
