The main chassis of the AZZA Fantom 900 is made of Japanese SECC steel with the top and front panels made of plastic. The overlay of the front panel is made of black aluminum with the AZZA logo in silver that adds a nice touch of quality and sets it apart from similar looking cases of different brands.

Having a look at the front one can see that the design features angles and points to give the case a sleek look. The case looks just as good with the door open where you can access the Fantom 900's five front drive bays. Turning around to the back, the case looks quite standard with gray painted steel, seven expansion slots, a bottom mounted PSU opening and the added bonus of two openings for water cooling.

The left side of the case features a 230mm fan which should be plenty large enough to cool an entire motherboard. A clear plastic window surrounds the fan giving a glimpse to what is inside. The other side of the case is covered with a solid steel panel with an indent towards the rear for easy removal.

Having a closer look at the front, the upper portion is brushed aluminum and has an illuminated strip that runs vertically down the middle. The panel continues towards the lower area that covers a portion of the fan which creates a menacing "blue eye" look. It is further accented by a chrome strip running horizontally. With the panel open the five drive bays are revealed up top and the 140 mm blue LED fan is on the bottom.

Moving to the rear we have the 120 mm exhaust fan and the I/O opening. Just above the fan is a switch to control the speeds of the top and rear fans with high, medium and low settings. Towards the bottom there are seven expansion slots for an ATX motherboard, the opening for a PSU and two round holes fitted with rubber grommets for water cooling tubes.

The bottom of the Fantom 900 has four plastic feet at the four corners with rubber footing. There is a vent for a power supply fan as well as a fan mount for a 120 mm or 140 mm fan. The top of the case is black plastic and features a top vent for the fan, a tray for whatever you wish to set there and the front I/O panel. The front panel consists of the On/Off button, a small reset button, four USB 2.0 connections plus speaker and microphone inputs.
