Only starting with the utilities to adjust board-level hardware features that relate to the installed APU, I was actually rather impressed by the breadth of capabilities Biostar's included software offered.


You can also remotely control the Biostar Hi-Fi A88W 3D by installing an app on your smartphone, and there are utilities for updating software, submitting problem reports to Biostar's tech staff, and updating the BIOS itself.


The audio and LAN controllers also have specific software suites with which to adjust options, giving you nearly complete control of all provided features from within a Windows-based OS. That is pretty darn good for a value-oriented product.
