Graphics Card Cooler Front
Graphics Card Cooler Back

The Colorful cooler uses six heatpipes to quickly transport heat away from the GPU's surface.

VRM components and memory chips are cooled by small heatsinks on the card.

The metal backplate provides additional protection against damage during handling and installation.

Colorful has equipped their card with a dual BIOS, which is toggled via this switch. You have the choice between a normal BIOS (1051 MHz / 1753 MHz) and a Turbo BIOS (1203 MHz / 1753 MHz). The only difference I could find between these is in their clock frequency. A dual-BIOS obviously also comes in handy in case one BIOS gets corrupted during a BIOS flash.

Graphics Card Power Plugs

Power delivery requires two 8-pin PCI-Express power connectors. This configuration is specified for up to 375 W power draw.

Colorful is using the same OnSemi NCP4206 voltage controller NVIDIA placed on their reference design.

Graphics Card Memory Chips

The GDDR5 memory chips are by Samsung and carry the model number K4G41325FC-HC28. They are specified to run at 1750 MHz (7000 MHz GDDR5 effective).

Graphics Chip GPU

NVIDIA's new GM204 graphics processor brings the Maxwell architecture to the high-end. It is produced on a 28 nm process at TSMC, Taiwan, with a transistor count of 5.2 billion and a die size of 398 mm².
