Wireless Performance

The supplied wireless dongle establishes a 2.4 GHz radio connection with the headset. Its range is mediocre—I wasn't able to move far outside of my gaming room, which was no problem with Sennheiser, Corsair, or HyperX wireless gaming headsets. Still, as long as I stayed in the same room as the dongle, the wireless connection was absolutely flawless. There were no drops or perceivable lag on both input and output. With that in mind, even though you most likely won't be able to keep chatting to your squad while taking a trip to the fridge, you shouldn't run into any issues using the MH670 around your computer or console. The wireless dongle has a built-in status LED that blinks red when it's waiting for the connection and glows green when the connection with the headset is active.

Battery Life

Here's where things get very interesting. In terms of battery life, the Cooler Master MH670 keeps going and going—I ended up using it for a bit over 34 hours on a single charge. That's way more than the 24 hours listed in its specifications. An average gamer won't have to charge it more than twice a month; thanks to that, it's easy to forget that you're even using a wireless headset. A full recharge approximately takes two hours, and the headset can be used while charging.

Unfortunately, there's no way to figure out the remaining battery life. You'll only know that the battery is close to empty because of two occasional beeps that kick in through the headphones. At that point, you will have about two hours of usage left.
