The Cooler Master MP510 is a rather unique soft mouse pad with a surface made out of Cordura, and it is available in four different sizes. Just like there's no such thing as a perfect mouse for everyone, there's no one-fits-all mouse pad, either. The MP510 is definitely one of the more peculiar ones, and it may suit less users than most other pads, but those who find it good may find something truly unique with this particular model.
Its surface material is Cordura, which is a heavy-duty nylon blend, and in terms of feel, it's definitely the roughest soft pad I have ever tried. I cannot really explain its gliding properties (it feels strange, but good at the same time), but the surface is definitely not bad in any way. There's a CM logo in the top-right corner, which isn't raised (so your mouse won't get stuck on it), and it glows in the dark in a fluorescent green light. Not really RGB, it at least doesn't need a power supply, and it's rather subtle. The backing is made out of textured rubber, and it's definitely better than the usual OEM backsides in terms of tackiness.
Performance-wise, the MP510 is nearly flawless, but as I explained thoroughly in the review, mice with tiny feet may have issues with scraping it due to the surface type. Apart from this, the tracking is great, and all modern sensors should work on it flawlessly. Build quality is also really good on my sample (and I haven't really heard users reporting differently). Overall, there's nothing to nitpick on as everything's nice and consistent.
As for the pricing, I think it's more than fair if we take a glance at the current mouse pad selection from most bigger manufacturers, although the XL version might be a bit on the expensive side compared to some of the competition. All in all, the MP510 is an interesting product, and I can highly recommend it to anyone who finds its properties suitable for their needs.
