The Cooler Master Storm (CM Storm) Scout is an affordable offering for the gamer brand. It costs around $70 US Dollars less than the CM Storm Sniper, so you can not expect to find all the innovation of the larger offering within the Scout. Nonetheless, for just over 100 bucks you get an all black interior, plenty of fans and interesting and functional features. The biggest noticable difference between the two cases, besides the internal space due to size, is the build quality - or lack thereof with the Scout. Sure, the reinforced handle is great, but the flimsy front is not. The Scout also has a few small design issues, which will make connecting the PSU cables to the mainboard a real pain and may mean that you will have to remove the CPU cooler, just to get everything connected. Nonetheless, considering the affordable price of the chassis, the unique feature set, the great paint job and overall design, it is easy to overlook these small downsides as none of them should be real deal breakers to most.
