The Coolink Corator DS LGA2011 is a great value-oriented product. While it may be overshadowed by the competition at lower load levels, overclocking is where it becomes of tremendous value. When overclocked and placed under heavy stress with Prime95, the Corator DS LGA2011 managed to give coolers nearly double its price a run for their money. Where competing value coolers became saturated by heat, the Corator DS LGA2011 stayed nice and cool, offering the ability to overclock further than the competition in the same price range. Not only that, the use of SecuFirm 2 makes the cooler a breeze to install while also offering two options for mounting orientation. Adding to the value is the solid build quality. In my testing up to this point, the Corator DS LGA2011 is one of the best values on the market for Sandy Bridge-E based systems.

However, it isn't all smooth sailing. The Corator DS LGA2011 I received had one mounting post that was not threaded, and I luckily had another SecuFirm 2 mounting kit or the cooler would have been impossible to install. This is a huge problem I had to take points away for, as a typical user in this situation would have had to issue an RMA to get replacement mounting hardware. Another problem I ran into is more a matter of opinion. Its yellow fan is extremely hard to match to a system build with matching colors or a theme. The yellow fan is one of those love it or hate it aspects and is just not meant for everyone. The good news is that the fan is less noticeable with it being placed in the middle of the dual fin stacks.

All in all, the Coolink Corator DS LGA2011 is a great cooler that really offers unmatched performance at its price point.
