Corsair's peripherals are controlled through iCUE. After selecting the HS70 Bluetooth gaming headset, you'll be presented with photos of it from various angles and two sliders. The first slider adjusts the microphone volume, and the other controls the volume of microphone sidetone, better known as "microphone monitoring" by many. It is here you'll determine the volume of the sounds picked up by the microphone inside the headphones. If you're wondering why you'd want that in the first place, the explanation is simple enough—hearing yourself talk with no delay will prevent you from shouting or sounding nasal. I found it best with the microphone sidetone slider around the middle.
Finally, there's a 10-band system-wide equalizer, which lets us switch between various default sound profiles and create our own. You can use it to tailor the sound to your preferences. Since the HS70 Bluetooth has a fairly colored sound signature, this is where you can change it, perhaps by reducing the lower frequencies and boosting the middle frequencies.
A female voice will notify you about a sound preset change, but the lady won't name the preset, not even if a default one (Pure Direct, Movie Theater, FPS Competition, and Clear Chat), instead numbering them. As such, you had better remember which one is which or you'll get lost quickly.
