Packaging
Cougar ships the Spike in a simple, brown cardboard box with a drawn image of the case and its name in prominent writing all over the place. The rear goes into a bit of detail about its features while the side only holds the specs and its EAN code.
Two Styrofoam spacers hold the compact chassis in place, with a clear plastic bag protecting it from fingerprints and scratches.

You will only get the basics with the Cougar Spike chassis. A speaker and a bag of generic screws is all there is within the box. I would have liked to see some cable ties, all black screws, or replacement expansion-slot covers. You do get a decent manual, which should prove helpful during the assembly process.
