All the sticks I get from Crucial come directly from their US-based manufacturing plant, in pretty standard packaging that is mostly devoid of those things you might find included in retail. I get a simple clamshell with the sticks inside and not much else.
Nearly every set I have ever got from Crucial has been packaged this way, with a simple silver card liner under the trays that hold the DIMMs themselves. The only things that changes are the sticks inside and the molded trays that hold them.
