Introduction

DAREU Logo

DAREU is a gaming peripheral company based in China. Also sold under the name A950 Air, the ambidextrous A950 Wing is exceptionally light at 35 g, despite not featuring holes or an open-bottom design to save weight. Dubbed "AIM-750," PixArt's PAW3950 sensor capable of 30,000 CPI sees use, along with Omron D2FC-F-7N switches rated for 100 million clicks for the main buttons. In both wired and wireless operation, the A950 Wing supports true 8000 Hz polling, and DAREU cites up to 70 hours of battery life when using 1000 Hz. The usual customization options can be found in the software. The A950 Wing is available in either black or white.

Weight

My scale shows around 35 g (+/- 1 g), which is exactly in line with the weight cited by DAREU. For comparison, the similarly sized and likewise solid-shell SCYROX V8 weighs 40 g, same as the similarly sized, solid-shell Hitscan Hyperlight. An excellent weight.
