Installation

To install the cooler on AMD's Socket AM5, you first need to install the AMD mounting brackets to the cooler then prepare the clips and screws which will be used to anchor the cooler to the default plastic AMD brackets on the motherboard.

Installing the radiator and fans is a simple affair. Using the radiator screws attach the radiator to the chassis and then secure the fans to the radiator making sure to route the cables as you go.

Finally with everything else situated apply thermal paste and then mount the pump/block to the motherboard. All that remains is to plug the fans and ARGB connectors into the appropriate motherboard headers and your good to go.

Overall, the installation is pretty straightforward on AMD and Intel, with no major hurdles or headache-inducing design choices. Even so, I am not a fan of utilizing the plastic AMD mounting brackets and prefer a proper bolt through method for peace of mind.
