Installation

To install the GAMMAXX GT, users will need to prepare the backplate by putting the nuts into the proper spots on said backplate. Then position the backplate on the motherboard. Once in place, screw the pillars into the backplate to secure it to the motherboard.


It is now time to apply a bit of thermal compound. With that done, put the proper mounting arms on to the heatsink's base before securing it to the motherboard.


All that is left is to attach the fan and plug in all the wires.

The mounting hardware included with the Deepcool GAMMAXX GT cooler is relatively straightforward. In terms of difficulty, I would rate its installation a 9 on a scale of 1 (hardest) to 10 (easiest).
