Surface

There are four different color variations to choose from. The Blood Red and Ocean Blue options are glossy at the top, while the Noir and Blizzard White models feature a matte surface coating. All four colors feature the same matte side coating.

The glossy finish will generally be better for users with drier hands, so if your palms sweat a lot while gaming, I would suggest going for a matte model as I did. To me, the matte surface finish on the Noir model feels particularly great. It is very smooth, but provides enough grip in even the hotter summer months, which is when my hands are sweaty all the time.

Build Quality

The build quality is great on my model; however, some users already reported loose, slightly rattling scroll wheels. Mine doesn't seem to have any issues; everything is perfect. No squeaking, creaking, or rattling noises from anywhere, and the mouse feet are aligned perfectly.

Weight

The DM1 FPS weighs about 82-83 grams, which can be considered very light for its size. Generally, your wrist joints will thank you for using lighter mice over the long run, and thankfully, more and more companies realizing this. This is especially true for high-paced FPS gaming, which is where you move the mouse around a lot, or even pick it up. The weight of the DM1 FPS is very well distributed, too; it is neither front nor back heavy.
