Storage Performance


There are only a couple of I/O controllers on the ECS Z370-Lightsaber; an ASMedia ASM1142 for the rear USB 3.1 and an ASMedia ASM1061 for two of the SATA 6Gb/s ports. The rest is handled by the Z370 chipset. There are no USB Type-C ports on this board. I used the USB 3.1 Type-A ports for that section of the test. It's 2018 - USB Type-C has been around for a while, so there is no excuse for its omission.
