When it comes to general performance, many things have to be tested. To start, we utilize AIDA64 Engineer to check on memory latency and read, write, and copy speeds. CPU Queen is used for comparisons across various processors and acts as a quick test to see if the processor is performing as it should.
Cinebench R20 offers a look into single and multi-core performance. It can be run by anyone and allows for hardware comparisons across several generations.
We also utilize the Blender BMW benchmark render to further test system performance. Meanwhile, LuxMark is used as it can effectively scale across graphics processors and provides a good look at GPU performance under OpenCL workloads. Finally, Thea Render is another alternative rendering option that can be used to gauge general performance.
