The Endorfy Arx 700 Air is the brands first true foray into creating something with its own DNA through and through. Accordingly, Endorfy really manages to carve out something that is down-to-earth functional. While it won't stick out visually from a crowd of enclosures it more than makes up with its features. At around $110 USD it does miss the magically sub-$100 price point, but the fact that you get an excellent fan load-out right out of the box actually means you get quite a bit for your money. Endorfy correctly identified that customer of this pricing segment are very likely to go with what is provided and spend their cash on functional components instead of more fans. By providing five 140 mm PWM fans, there is certainly no reason you can't do just that.

In terms of functionality, the Endorfy Arx 700 Air checks all the boxes and stays pretty close to the "tried and true" path. As such don't expect it to re-invent the wheel but rather to really manage to work well in every area that is important. From excellent cable management, to great liquid cooling support or tons of space for large components - building in the Arx 700 Air is a great experience. That said, there are a few things that Endorfy could tweak. The biggest being the fact that there is only a 5-port PWM hub. Albeit that is excellent to have, the chassis can hold up to eight cooling units, as such the hub should really be able to handle up to eight fans. Secondly, with only a single 3.5" drive capable of fitting inside the chassis, that may be a dealbreaker to those who need more - no matter how well the chassis works for them otherwise. Besides that, there is not really anything more to complain about and the Endorfy Arx 700 Air manages to also perform quite well in our testing by offering thermals in the top quarter of our comparison table while being in the mid-field in terms of noise under load.

At the given price point and the clean, simple yet really functional mix along with its wider body and build quality, the Endorfy Arx 700 Air deserves our Editor's Choice. For those building a new system and looking to just get a really good out of the box setup and experience, the Arx 700 Air should certainly be on their short list to consider.
