Installation
To install the cooler the first step is to prepare it for mounting. Considering the fans are daisy-chainable it makes the most sense to install them first and connect the wiring to simplify the mounting process later. Next, slide the appropriate mounting bracket onto the pump. In this case since I am installing on AMD's Socket AM5, I used the AMD bracket.
Now prepare the motherboard by removing the plastic AMD brackets and replace them with the AMD standoffs. Since the cooler comes with thermal paste pre-applied you don't need to worry about applying any yourself. However, if you have preference for a specific paste clean the pump block and then apply your thermal paste to the CPU.
Now mount the pump to the CPU and remove / rotate the pump cap to the desired orientation. Make sure when tightening the spring screws to tighten them all bit by bit starting at one corner say the top left, move to the bottom right then bottom left then top right. This criss-crossing pattern helps apply more even pressure to ensure a good mount and optimal TIM spread. With the pump mounted you can now install the radiator and then connect all the wiring.
Overall, the installation is pretty straightforward on AMD and Intel, with no major hurdles or headache-inducing design choices.
