Overclocking

With manual overclocking, maximum overclock of our sample is 2500 MHz on the memory (25% overclock) and +175 MHz to the GPU's base clock, which increases average GPU clock from 1941 MHz to 2101 MHz (8% overclock).

Memory overclocking seems artificially limited as the card will run perfectly fine at 2500 MHz all day and crash instantly when 2501 MHz gets set. Still, a 25% memory overclock is highly impressive.

Overclocked Performance

Using these clock frequencies, we ran a quick test of Unigine Heaven to evaluate the gains from overclocking.


Actual 3D performance gained from overclocking is 16.0%.
