Closer Examination
Checking out the mouse, we instantly see that it has the ever-popular shape we are used to with pro gaming mice. This one is a little slimmer and has a lower profile, which lends itself more to a claw grip than a palm grip. Its contours allow you to use the mouse comfortably, but those who use a palm grip may find them to be a little too angled. The thumb buttons on the left-hand side have a nice feel to them and emit a pretty quiet click. They do feel a little plasticky, but not in such a way that you won't get used to it.
The scroll wheel is relatively stiff but easy to use whilst gaming or using it for office work. It has RGB illumination you can change the color of in the software. The LMB and RMB use Omeron D2FC-F-7N switches, which, as you would expect, work incredibly well. They are not too clicky and are comfortable to use over longer sessions with the mouse.
The 2m chord is braided with a good quality braid, and the USB connector is gold-plated, which is the norm. The cable didn't snag at all during testing and didn't fray.
The underside of the Fnatic Gear Flick shows us the Pixart 3310 sensor as well as the four skates, or feet.
At the top of the mouse is a small circular button right behind the scroll wheel. This button allows you to change the profile. You also have an indicator on the side of the mouse to show you which profile you are currently using. Using the software, you can rebind this button completely.
