I really enjoyed playing with the G.SKILL F3-2400C10D-8GTX kit. They have, having been the "reference" modules I used for testing with all Z77 and Z75-based boards, proven themselves time and again; not only in terms of compatibility, but also full complete stability. They worked with every board within a couple weeks of the launch of Intel Z77 Express platforms and definitely made my job of doing reviews easier.
It's unfortunately true that the red and black color scheme is not going to appeal to everyone, and many motherboards out there sport different color schemes that these sticks won't match at all. The low current price, and their ease of use over the past several months, really makes worrying about such things difficult. Testing showed that having slightly higher-performance ram than the 1600 MHz Ivybridge CPUs support at default can pay off with almost one-hundred percent of the boards we saw gaining from higher clock speeds. Given the small price increase right now over standard modules, the cost is completely worth it, especially if using more than one GPU. You should look nowhere else if you have an ASUS ROG board, or one of the ASRock Fatal1ty-series products. And you might even find them for cheaper if you grab a set right now. ;)
