I could not help but smile as I opened G.Skill's shipping box from Taiwan. What is this? No plastic clamshell? This box is nice! I immediately found my mind wandering back to the DDR2 days where G.Skill's sticks were often found in similar boxes. The back of the box has a sticker to let you know which sticks are inside and is covered in a bit of marketing language.

The box itself is sealed with a sticker, so make sure yours is intact. Open it and you'll find the sticks themselves in a nice small clamshell that keeps them safe on their way to you from the factory.

There's a tab at one corner that makes opening the clamshell easy. You might otherwise fumble for a bit like I did until I noticed it. :P You'll find your sticks and a case badge inside; the same case badge G.Skill has had for ages now.
