Packaging and Accessories
As with the other G.Skill keyboards I've taken a look at, the KM250 RGB ships in a thin cardboard box sized just enough to hold the keyboard and a bare few accessories inside. The black base color helps add contrast to the various colorful elements such as a render of the keyboard lit up on the front and back. The G.Skill logo is also on the front along with the product name whereas salient features are listed on the back. A seal on the side keep the box closed and opening it reveals the keyboard placed inside a thin foam wrap for added protection. The various accessories are either underneath or in a separate cardboard compartment.
Don't ask me why G.Skill included two copies of the same quick start guide with this sample but it's still a good idea to go through it and learn more about the various pre-programmed controls and customization options available. You can download the guide
on this page too if you prefer having a PDF file instead. We also get a USB Type-C to Type-A cable as well as a metal wire style keycap puller and switch remover combo tool to finish this unboxing experience.
