Introduction

G-Wolves Logo

Established in 2018, G-Wolves is a peripheral company based in China. The main difference between the Hati-S Plus 4K and Hati-S Plus ACE is the addition of true 4000 Hz wireless polling. Whereas typical 1000 Hz mice poll data at an interval of 1 ms, the G-Wolves Hati-S Plus 4K can do so at an interval of 0.5 ms (2000 Hz) or 0.25 ms (4000 Hz), which lowers both sensor and click latency. Since 4000 Hz results in higher battery drain, the Hati-S Plus 4K comes with a larger battery than the ACE, which in turns increases the weight to a still highly competitive 51 g. Much like the ACE, the Hati-S Plus 4K is equipped with Zippy DF3-P1L1 main button switches rated for 60 million clicks, and the mouse feet are made of pure PTFE. On my sample, PixArt's PAW3399 sensor capable of 20,000 CPI is used, but later batches may be outfitted with PixArt's PAW3395, which is a variant of the former and thus should perform identically. As is customary for G-Wolves, the box has lots of accessories included, ranging from several sets of replacement mouse feet, grip tape, and cables. The Hati-S Plus 4K is available in white, pink, or gray.
