The Genesis Irid 503 looks good and is constructed really well with its metal top cover and mesh front panel. It also manages to impress with its four fans right out of the box, alongside the fully fledged, functional, expandable ARGB controller that comes with a 6-port fan hub to boot. All that does not only sound great, but provides tangible satisfaction when viewing, assembling, and using the Genesis Irid 503 ARGB.
In terms of pricing, the Irid 503 does not really push the envelope in an attempt make potential buyers move away from an established brand, but instead is firmly placed right alongside most other mini towers with such a feature set. The Irid 503 ARGB offers more out of the box, like more fans or a better fan/ARGB PCB, but lacks in I/O with its focus on USB 2.0.
it is otherwise a solid choice. Its build quality is good, assembly is quite alright with a few little pain points here and there, it's compatibility with your favorite hardware, and its window is clean and well implemented, which are all good reasons to pick the chassis, even if that is diminished a tiny bit by their somewhat overzealous branding. If you are looking for a functional mini tower and have access to the Irid 503 ARGB, it may be just right for you.
