Gigabyte's UEFI implementations have been some of the most visually advanced for some time. The Gigabyte Z170X-Gaming G1 is the same, with a very simple interface greeting you upon first boot and other modes available by simply pressing "F2". This allows you to swap to a much more traditional layout akin to much older non-UEFI implementations, but with a gray rather than blue screen. Then there is the high-resolution version in a familiar black and orange layout, like the opening screen, which is my third problem. Why does a red, white, and black board have a black and orange BIOS? Is it because the BIOS programmer is lazy? I'd say so. There is NO REASON to have orange here, clashing with the rest of the esthetic the board provides. At least the provided options are good, but the BIOS isn't too intuitive; you have to manually adjust voltages when enabling one of the built-in OC profiles in BIOS. Why have a profile if it only changes some of the necessary options and not all? Anyway, most BIOS screens are shown below.
