Once we completed our CPU test suite, we took some time to play some games with the TPU community to get an overall feel for gaming on the Gigabyte Z77N-WiFi. We settled in to complete our 3D benchmarking after a couple of days, feeling confident that the Gigabyte Z77N-WiFi was going to put on a good show. Let's take a look at the numbers the board provided.
3DMark11 and PCMark 07
Shogun 2
F1 2010
There's no doubt that using the mITX form factor is going to limit overall performance, which these benchmarks confirmed. All the other boards are tested using dual HD 7950 VGAs, but since there is only a single PCIe slot available on this product, it is impossible for it to support both cards, but its CPU-bound Shogun2 and PCMark7 benchmarks show that the Gigabyte Z77N-WiFi can hang out with the bigger boys, even if it's small size limits how many videocards can be used.
