  • Charging case only works well with some tips
The HiFiMAN TWS600 is a good match if you are mostly concerned with the price and sound quality. Styling is a bit of a hit and miss, and while it certainly stands out, we are not sure it does so in a good way. The good thing about the styling is that these earphones are sufficiently small to go largely unnoticed when you have them in your ears.

Sound quality is the hallmark of HiFiMAN, and the TWS600 is definitely no letdown in this department, especially considering their new price of just $99. They handily beat in-ears that cost twice as much, and while the tip selection leaves you a little wanting, you will be pleased to know that HiFiMAN has stuck to a standard tip mount, which means you can use a lot of different aftermarket tips. However, the TWS600 is definitely targeting the critical listener more than the headset user in that the microphone system is simple. Compared to other offerings in the price range, they are pretty average.

If you enjoyed the tuning of recent HiFiMAN in-ears, the TWS600 is not far off despite lacking sophisticated codec support and being wireless.
