Overclocking

HIS is running higher default clocks than the AMD reference design. For our overclocking tests we used a combination of internal AMD software, ATITool and our benchmarking suite.



The final overclocks of our card are 877 MHz Core (3 % overclock) and 1260 MHz Memory (6 % overclock). Both overclocks are very limited, which means that HIS already chose values close to the maximum of these cards. For the end user this has the advantage that no additional overclocking is required to get the maximum out of this card. The hardcore overclocker will be a bit disappointed though because almost no additional overclock is possible.


The two slot cooler works very well and delivers low temperatures.
