As mentioned before, Hitman 2 only support DirectX 11, whereas the predecessor supported DX12 and DX11
The number of settings has been reduced as well
Obviously, you get the usual monitor, resolution, and windowed/fullscreen options
V-Sync can be turned off completely or set to half your monitor's refresh rate, too. There is no hidden FPS cap
In terms of details settings, you can adjust Level of Detail, Texture Quality, Texture Filtering, and Shadow Quality; nothing special worth mentioning
Super Sampling can be increased from 1.0 to 2.0, but there are no resolution downscaling options (like in most other recent titles)
SSAO (screen space ambient occlusion) is available, but there is no HBAO option
Override Memory Safeguards lets you pick higher options than what the game thinks is possible given your graphics card's video memory. As we'll see on the next page, even on the highest quality, memory requirements are quite modest.
