Hitscan Hyperlight Review

Shape

The shape of the Hyperlight has some similarities to the Razer Viper Mini, but several key differences exist nonetheless. While the hump is mostly centered, it isn't as tapered as on the Viper Mini, and rather extends across the entire width instead. In general, the Hyperlight maintains a moderately high profile, yet slopes down quite rapidly towards the front, resulting in unusually low button height right at the front. Neither the front nor back flare out much, and the sides curve inwards only moderately, too. The main buttons are framed by ledges, much like on the X2V2 or OP1we. Overall, an agreeable design with some hints of uniqueness.

As for grip styles, I'd say the Hyperlight is mostly suited for claw grip, with fingertip grip being possible at least. It is a small-sized mouse with a moderately pronounced hump, which should make it suitable for most hand sizes. For reference, my hands are 19 cm long and 10 cm wide, and I found the Hyperlight comfortable in claw grip.

Dimensions

This table includes the dimensions of the Hitscan Hyperlight and several other ambidextrous mice. "Front height" denotes the distance between the base and main buttons. Measurements with two decimals have been taken with a caliper, while those with one decimal have been taken with a ruler.
