HyperX Cloud Revolver S Review

Build Quality & Comfort

The build quality of the Cloud Revolver S is excellent. Your hands will touch high-quality steel, much more rigid and robust than what competitors offer on their (mostly cheaper) headsets, very fine rubber that covers the ear cups and microphone, and pleather, used on both sides of the inner headband as well as the ear cushions.

The rubberized inserts that prevent the steel headband from causing ringing inside the ears are yet more proof of HyperX having really thought about every possible detail, which had them do everything they could and made the overall experience as good as it is.

The HyperX Cloud Revolver S leaves nothing to chance when it comes to comfort either. The dual-headband design ensures that the headset's weight gets evenly distributed over the top of the head; the clamping force isn't too high and the pleather-covered ear cushions are soft and large, so they don't press against the ears at all, completely surrounding them instead. In short, the build quality and comfort are completely in line with the price. You pay a lot, but get everything you could wish for in return as far as these two aspects go.
